The Wokingham Living Advent Calendar is little over a month
away and we are getting excited.
There are some fantastic acts lined up this year, some
favourites from previous years, some new.
For anyone new to the concept the Living Advent calendar
presents a short free 15 minute performance each evening on the run up to
Christmas at various venues around the Town.
Previous years have also seen us do special longer events
like the Live Nativity. This year as well as a Live Nativity the annual
Dressing the Christmas Tree will be featured as a special event.
The Living Advent Calendar website will be populated over
the next few days with venues and other details on the 2014 event.

For the last two years we were privileged to be able to
share the ChristChurch Live Nativity with the people of Wokingham as part of
the Living Advent Calendar. ChristChurch Wokingham are not putting on their
Live Nativity this year but not to worry we have a fantastic alternative.
Local Community Theatre group “Bottle Top” with the support
of Churches Together in Wokingham proudly bring the true story of Christmas to
life with their own version of a Live Nativity in Howard Palmer Gardens on 21st
December 2014. Join them at 3pm in the
Market Place for the procession with the live performance at 4pm.
